Meet Our Staff

Monica McCann joined Stone & Bellus in 2023 as a Law Clerk. Her responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing memos, drafting motions, and legal documents, and assisting the attorneys in their daily activities.

Monica graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in May 2023 with her Juris Doctorate and Certificate in Environmental Law and Land Use. During law school, Monica worked with The Coca Cola Company in the Environmental, Safety and Sustainability Division on corporate environmental law and food law matters, as well as with a boutique firm based in Denver specializing in civil matters includuing property and animal law. Monica held several leadership positions in student organizations and had her first journal article published with the American Bar Association’s Section of Environmental, Energy and Resources in July 2023. Prior to law school, Monica obtained a Bachelor’s in Science at The University of Alabama, where she participated in undergraduate research before moving on to work for a non-profit before beginning law school. Monica recently sat for the Universal Bar Exam License and will be pursuing a Georgia Bar License in the near future.

In her free time, Monica enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, baking, and teaching spring classes at a local gym, utilizing her personal training and nutrition certifications. Monica combines her diverse business, legal, and science background in furtherance of client goals.
